Dr. Marco Nock
Dr. Marco Nock is one of Germany's most experienced innovation experts. With more than 20 years of leadership experience at leading international technology companies, he combines deep technical knowledge with strategic vision and a genuine passion for innovations that change markets.
At EOS – the world's technology leader in industrial 3D printing – he was responsible for the entire machine and innovation business: from innovation strategy, through leading multidisciplinary R&D teams, to global P&L responsibility. Under his leadership, EOS was repeatedly recognized as one of Germany's most innovative companies – by TOP 100, Capital, Stern and CHIP.
Previously at Knorr-Bremse, he shaped the digitalization and modernization of rail vehicles and built international R&D teams across multiple locations worldwide.
Dr. Nock served on the board of the Fraunhofer IWS, one of the world's leading research institutes for materials and laser technology, was a member of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs' expert panel on additive manufacturing, and gives guest lectures at the Institute for Technical Product Development at the Bundeswehr University Munich.
He holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering. His engineering studies, complemented by executive education at Stanford University (Innovation & Entrepreneurship) and the University of Michigan (Positive Leadership), form the academic foundation of his work.
